This is a pretty vintage cake stand perfect your afternoon tea party!
The lower plate is Midwinter Stylecraft c.1950's (7 3/4" diameter)
The upper plate is Heathcote handcoloured c.1930's (7" diameter)
There is wear to the gilt commensurate with age and there is crazing to the glaze on the underside of the lower plate (not on the upper).

The 'vintage' and 'antique' china in my shop is not new and are very unlikely to look 'new' (unless I describe them as 'pristine' or 'perfect'). I will only sell items that will be useable such that I will not include items with hairline cracks or repairs. I faithfully try to describe any flaws etc but please bear in mind you are buying items that will reflect a history of use to varying extents.
Personally I like my china to show its age and be evocative of days gone by ... but this may not be your cup of tea!
