This is quality vintage chainette acetate fringing that was manufactured in now ceased textile factories & mills of Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. 
It was specifically made for lampshade makers though can be used for other soft furnishings, clothing and crafts.
7.5cm high including a ripple header braid.
The ends are stitched to keep them tidy in storage and during application but the stitching is pulled away for looped fringe or the ends snipped with scissors for cut fringe.
