This is quality vintage chainette acetate fringing that was manufactured in now ceased textile factories & mills of Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. 
It was specifically made for lampshade makers though can be used for other soft furnishings, clothing and crafts.

Note that this has some slight fading on the outer edges that have been exposed to light in storage. This effects probably no more than 1m of the entire lot.
